Impact of the Attack on Odesa: Housing and Schools Damaged

This was reported by the press service of the Odesa City Council.

The enemy struck residential areas in a densely populated part of Odesa. Numerous apartments and three schools were damaged, with over 90 windows shattered. At least three individuals were injured.

Oksana Buynevych, head of the city’s Department of Education and Science, warns parents about the dangers for children following the nighttime attack:

«Please talk to your children again: do not touch anything suspicious on the ground, no unclear objects. Adults share information on social media, but it will be difficult for children to understand why this is dangerous».

Currently, all relevant services are working to mitigate the consequences of the Russian attacks.

An operational headquarters of the district administration will be set up in the morning, where citizens can receive advice on how to apply for financial assistance for the restoration of windows and doors, as well as compensation from the state budget under the eRestoration program.

«Moreover, our reliable partners – public and charitable organizations – will provide kits for temporarily sealing window openings to assist affected individuals», – the city hall reported.
