Mayor of Odessa, Gennady Trukhanov, addressed the issue of the building destroyed by Russian forces, stating: "We will do everything in our power to ensure that residents return home as quickly as possible."
During an on-site meeting, he spoke with residents of the house on Yaroslav Mudry Avenue, which was damaged by a hostile drone strike on May 1.
Experts assessed the situation, declaring the building hazardous. Residents have been offered the city's rental compensation program.
"On May 13, an extraordinary session of the city council will be held, where deputies will decide on funding for the stabilization and restoration of the upper floors. The regional commission will review the technical report beforehand. We will do everything possible to ensure families return to their homes quickly," added Gennady Trukhanov.
