Summer Flower Planting in Istanbul Park

The landscaping team from the City Green Trust has initiated the planting of summer flowers in Istanbul Park. The stunning patterns covering an area of 500 square meters will be made up of over 30,000 begonias.

At the start of the season, the workers of the City Green Trust tidied up the park's territory, repainting benches and trash bins, and maintaining the lawns.

This year, Odessa plans to plant 350,000 summer flowers. The floral compositions will traditionally include salvia, geraniums, begonias, petunias, ageratum, tagetes, and chlorophytum.

The first summer flowers have already partially adorned the Stock Exchange Square and flower beds near the Primorsky District Administration, replacing the spring blooms. In total, 12,000 summer flowers (petunias, begonias, and geraniums) will be planted in Stock Exchange Square, while the pattern «Lyra» in the Theater Square will consist of 10,000 begonias.

The representatives of the City Green Trust noted that summer flowers will be planted in all city districts, replacing the spring plants that have already faded.
