Summer is just around the corner in Odesa, and many entrepreneurs are preparing to enhance beach areas.

The tenant of 1,250 sq.m in the southern part of the "Arcadia" beach (south of the Rotunda) has developed a project for the improvement of the waterfront and beach area and has approached the Odesa City Council for approval.

The northern part of the "Arcadia" beach is managed by the municipal enterprise "Odesa Coast".

The proposed changes to the waterfront include:

• creation of a pedestrian zone;
• installation of an elevator for people with disabilities;
• setting up waste bins, benches, and lighting;
• landscaping with decorative planters.

According to the project, the beach improvements include:

• construction of a summer terrace with a canopy along the retaining wall;
• renovation of the entrance group and stairs for easy access to the beach;
• restoration of the retaining wall surface;
• construction of a canopy for people with limited mobility on the public beach area;
• installation of a set of showers, changing rooms, and a lifeguard tower.

These project solutions have already been approved by the relevant departments of the Odesa City Council.

The revitalization of the waterfront and beach will be carried out in accordance with the regulations of the city of Odesa and other legal acts regarding non-capital modular constructions.

All works will be fully financed by the tenant without using budget funds.
