Recently, Odesa launched a project to mark accessible routes throughout the city. Initial informational banners have been placed in key areas with high pedestrian activity, including near essential social infrastructure, medical, and educational facilities.

The initiative, titled “Barrier-Free Route” is ongoing and continuously evolving.

Today marks the beginning of the second phase of the marking process, where ambassadors from the "Barrier-Free Movement" have added special visual markers at public transport stops, in residential courtyards, and near important social facilities. These markers act as guides for individuals with limited mobility.

The project's implementation in Odesa is driven by the initiative of Mayor Hennadiy Trukhanov. Coordination is provided by the Accessibility Council, which comprises experts, veterans, and representatives from civic organizations.
