On July 11, a fire broke out in Odessa, leaving one woman injured. The blaze affected personal property within a residential building, but firefighters responded quickly. This was reported by the press service of the State Emergency Service.
The event took place during the day in the Peresyp district on Republic Street. During the fire response, the homeowner, born in 1938, was rescued and hospitalized with burns to her face and hands, in moderate condition.
"The cause of the fire and the extent of the damage are currently under investigation. A total of 3 pieces of equipment and 14 firefighters were involved in the response," the agency stated.
