Recently, the Inclusive Beach located at the 11th station of the Great Fountain in Odessa hosted the Black Sea Cup in Beach Sambo.

Athletes from various regions of Ukraine participated in the competition.

Among the attendees were: Deputy Mayor Serhiy Kotsyuba, advisor to the Mayor on accessibility issues Oleksiy Morozov, president of the Odessa regional sambo federation NFSU Kadyk Babajanyan, head of the city’s Department of Physical Culture and Sports Ruslan Puzdrach, and director of the Department of Internal Policy Oleksandr Zhyltsev.

“This beach was designed not just to serve as a leisure area but as a genuine barrier-free venue for events. Today’s competition confirms this. Odessa will continue to support sports and accessibility,” stated Serhiy Kotsyuba.

“Our team at the Barrier-Free Council saw the potential of this space from the planning stage. Today’s competition is the best proof that we have succeeded,” added Oleksiy Morozov.

Beach 11 has once again demonstrated its versatility and ability to host events of various scales, uniting sports, inclusion, and city development.
