The 'Barrier-Free Movement' initiative is progressing in Odesa.
A recent online meeting was held with the central office team of the 'Barrier-Free Movement' initiative, led by Oleksii Kuleba, the Minister for Community Development, Territories and Infrastructure of Ukraine, and attended by Natalia Kozlovska, the Deputy Minister.
During the discussion, updates were shared regarding the project implementation in Odesa, including existing initiatives and future plans.
The city has received new proposals for implementing barrier-free solutions that are moving into practical application. A key focus is engaging businesses in adapting entrances to commercial establishments in line with modern building regulations.
Some renovations have already begun in areas designated for the first phase of the barrier-free route.
Odesa continues to lead in the implementation of barrier-free solutions.
