On August 24th, a 34-meter national flag was raised in Odesa to celebrate Ukraine's Independence Day.
Each meter of this fabric represents a year of our freedom. It embodies our achievements and challenges, our journey towards unity, dignity, and strength.
Thanks to the courage of Ukrainian soldiers, our flag now flies so high that the world knows of a strong and unyielding Ukraine. Their resilience is what enables us to celebrate, live, and dream.
That is why Odesa today holds the blue and yellow banner firmly as a symbol of freedom, gratitude, and faith. It waves over the sea, the streets, and in our hearts. And every gust of wind that unfurls the fabric over the city reminds us: we have endured, we exist, and we will prevail!
