On August 24, a concert was held on Odesa's famous Deribasivska Street in celebration of Ukraine's Independence Day.
The festive program included Ukrainian folk songs, contemporary hits, English-language tracks, and even rock compositions.
This musical palette symbolizes Ukraine's openness to the world, its dialogue with other cultures, and pride in its own traditions. True independence lies in the ability to preserve one's own while freely interacting with the global community.
The concert featured the Black Sea Orchestra from the Odesa Municipal Music Theater, conducted by Olesya Pistova, with soloists: Anastasia Buinitska, Yulia Borza, Tetiana Ihnatenko, and Aliya Diguliar.
Other participants included the Odesa City Center for Choreographic Arts (led by Yukhym Kogan), the concert orchestra of the Military Academy (Odesa), conducted by Yaroslav Meda, and soloists: Anna Haluzinska, Oleksandr Nesterenko, Oleksiy Havrylyak and Nana Kritsak Band.
