Odesa is diligently working on initiatives aimed at establishing an accessible environment and enhancing opportunities for all residents.

The city plans to develop the municipal beach "Otrada" as a space for recreation and rehabilitation for veterans, children with disabilities, and other mobility-impaired groups.

Additionally, the beach will serve as a base for adaptive rowing sports development.

On August 27, during an extraordinary session, the Odesa City Council approved modifications to the "Accessible Odesa" program, increasing its funding by 1 million hryvnias.

The total budget for the program for 2025 amounts to 189.5 million hryvnias.
