On the occasion of Memorial Day for those who lost their lives in the fight for Ukraine's independence, sovereignty, and territorial integrity, flowers were laid at a memorial in one of the city's cemeteries in Odessa.

The event saw participation from city and regional leaders, families of the deceased, veterans, military personnel, law enforcement representatives, clergy, and local citizens.

Currently, the city authorities, in collaboration with the families of the fallen, are working on establishing a memorial at this site.
