Authorities have uncovered luxury vehicles owned by a former head of the tax service in the Odessa region, acquired at significantly reduced prices.

This was reported by the State Bureau of Investigations.

The vehicles in question are a Toyota Land Cruiser 200 (2018 model) and an Audi RSQ8 (2020 model), bought by the former official's family for prices of 300,000 UAH and 1.4 million UAH respectively.

The total market value of these cars exceeded 5.3 million UAH.

Subsequently, the Audi RSQ8 was sold at market value, and the proceeds were used to purchase a BMW X7 xDrive.

Currently, to secure the claim, the High Anti-Corruption Court has seized the Toyota Land Cruiser 200 and BMW X7 xDrive.

“Based on the materials collected by the Bureau, the prosecutor of the Specialized Anti-Corruption Prosecutor's Office filed a lawsuit with the High Anti-Corruption Court to recognize these assets as unjustified,“ the SBI noted.
