Members of the Student Parliament in Odesa, with the assistance of inspectors from the Odesa Region Patrol Police, conducted a training game titled "Creating a Safety Circle".
The game aids in building awareness regarding the issues of violence, bullying, and the methods for prevention and overcoming these challenges.
The card game methodology «Safety Circle», developed with support from UNICEF Ukraine, includes five key areas: «General Concepts of Violence», «Children and Bullying», «Children and Online Violence», «Children and Domestic Violence», and «Children and Strangers».
During a friendly discussion, participants shared their thoughts on the significance of preventing and addressing various forms of violence, its causes, and consequences.
Student government leaders also learned about legal responsibilities and the specifics of seeking help in cases of violence risk or incidents, as well as ways to stop and prevent crimes.
The patrol officers urged children never to hide instances of violence and to report any manifestations to law enforcement authorities.
This event aims to raise awareness among children and youth about lawful behavior and accountability for offenses, as well as to prevent and combat bullying and violence in adolescent environments.
