Student leaders from municipal secondary education institutions in Odessa convened the first meeting of the High School Parliament for the 2024/2025 academic year.

During the meeting, students reviewed the Parliament's activities for the 2023/2024 academic year. The most active participants received certificates from the Department of Education and Science of the Odessa City Council.

Attendees included graduates and members of last year's Parliament, who came to support the new candidates and share their experiences.

According to the results of this year's voting, the following were elected to the presidium of the High School Parliament for the 2024/2025 academic year: Alina Dildina (Kyiv District), Elizabeth Buzinovska (Primorsky District), Milena Mala (Khadyzhbe District), and Daria Boyarska (Peresyp District).

Leaders from district parliaments will join the Youth Council under the Odessa Mayor and will represent the interests of Odessa's youth in the city council, participating in the formation of youth policy.

The meeting also approved projects that will be implemented in the 2024/2025 academic year. Key areas of focus include protecting socially vulnerable groups, promoting a healthy lifestyle, ecological initiatives, cultural and charitable events, volunteering, and more.
