Teen Digital Literacy Course Launched in Ukraine

Teenagers are continuously influenced by social media and often fail to recognize that much of the content they encounter is deliberate manipulation or deception.

In Ukraine, a free course on digital literacy for teenagers has been created to empower them to safeguard themselves online.

The training is styled like a computer game featuring vibrant characters, quests, and rewards. It can be accessed via a computer, tablet, or smartphone. After completing the course, participants can revisit lessons or redo tasks at any time.

The course is authored by media researcher and educator Oksana Moroz, who also wrote the book «How to Avoid Being Misinformed», alongside child psychologist and president of the Ukrainian Association of Child Analysts, Kateryna Goltzberg.

The course is available online on the interactive Unicorn School platform from any device. You can register here: https://unicorn.itstep.org/infohygiene-training-course
