On August 20, 2025, instructors from the NGO «Ukrainian Mine Action Association» conducted training seminars for educators and children at Odessa's preschools No. 137 and 300, focusing on the prevention of risks posed by mines and explosive remnants.

The aim of the event was to enhance the safety of both children and adults, promote safe behavior to avoid threats from mines and explosive items, and establish proper protocols during shelling.

The Ukrainian Mine Action Association implements humanitarian projects in the field of mine action, particularly educating the public about the risks associated with mines and explosive remnants. The organization is executing the project "Building Capacity in Ukraine, including Non-Technical Survey of Areas and Risk Mitigation from Explosive Remnants" in partnership with The Mines Advisory Group (MAG), funded by the UK Foreign, Commonwealth & Development Office.
