This week, medical staff from the Primary Health Care Center No. 16 conducted a mobile vaccination campaign against diphtheria and tetanus for the employees of Odesa Bakery No. 4.
A total of 75 bakery employees received vaccinations to prevent diphtheria and tetanus.
The Odesa City Health Department continues its active efforts to provide additional vaccinations against whooping cough, diphtheria, and tetanus as part of a plan initiated by the Ministry of Health of Ukraine to ensure epidemic safety.
Currently, about 84% of children eligible for vaccinations under the additional immunization plan have been vaccinated. Vaccinations against diphtheria and tetanus are necessary for both children and adults, who are required to receive revaccination every 10 years for sustainable protection against these dangerous diseases.
During wartime, ensuring the population is vaccinated to prevent the rapid spread of infectious diseases is a matter of national security and public health.
The City Health Department reminds that free mobile vaccinations against diphtheria and tetanus can be organized for organized groups.
Qualified medical personnel carry out the vaccinations, and all vaccines possess quality certificates, being stored and transported under proper temperature conditions.
Any groups interested in ensuring the health of their employees through mobile vaccinations against diphtheria and tetanus can fill out the registration form or contact the Health Department at dep.oz@omr.gov.ua or by phone: (048) 753 14 36, (048) 753 15 75.
