Humanitarian Aid Delivered to Odesa Hospital

With the support of the Odesa OVA, the "Odesa Regional Clinical Hospital" received crucial humanitarian aid from American benefactor and former senator John Kachelman through the charity organization "Charitable Fund for Development and International Assistance Horizons," led by Alireza Pahlavanzadeh.

This initiative provided the medical facility with essential medical supplies and rehabilitation equipment, significantly aiding many patients. The assistance will enhance the conditions for patients during their stay and improve rehabilitation effectiveness.

According to doctors, this humanitarian aid will ease the lives of hospital patients, especially those undergoing rehabilitation or with limited mobility.

Overall, the institution received from benefactors:

  • wheelchairs to help people with disabilities move;
  • standard and forearm crutches to support patients while moving;
  • walkers that allow recovering patients to move safely and comfortably;
  • medical clothing for doctors and nurses, necessary for maintaining sterility during medical services;
  • adult diapers, particularly important for patients with limited mobility;
  • gloves used to ensure hygiene in the provision of medical services.

These supplies are vital for patient treatment and rehabilitation, creating comfort for medical staff and ensuring a proper level of medical services.

The humanitarian aid from the "Charitable Fund for Development and International Assistance Horizons" will not only improve treatment conditions and the quality of patient care but will also allow the hospital to enhance its material and technical base. Collaboration between medical institutions and charitable organizations is crucial in times when the healthcare sector faces numerous challenges, including resource shortages.

We express our sincere gratitude to the benefactors for their support. We hope for continued cooperation to support medical institutions in Odesa.
