Representatives of medical institutions in the Odessa region participated in a forum titled «Modern Rehabilitation Methods within Medical Programs», organized by the National Health Service of Ukraine for leaders of hospitals in the Odessa, Mykolaiv, and Kherson regions.

The event covered the outcomes of inspections of healthcare facilities regarding compliance with contract conditions for the «Rehabilitation Services for Adults and Children in Hospital Settings» program.

Forum participants discussed the findings of the inspections and ways to address key issues aimed at expanding capabilities and improving the quality of inpatient rehabilitation services.

New digital tools in the healthcare system related to the rehabilitation process were also presented, aimed at enhancing electronic document management.

Within the framework of the state program of medical guarantees, inpatient rehabilitation for adults is provided by municipal hospitals No. 1, No. 8, No. 10, and No. 11. The Children’s City Clinical Hospital No. 3 offers rehabilitation services for children. These medical facilities are equipped with modern technology that enables a wide range of rehabilitation procedures.

Furthermore, renovation works are being carried out to expand the rehabilitation capabilities of City Clinical Hospital No. 1 and to establish a robust rehabilitation center based at City Hospital No. 5.
