The Prime Minister of Georgia, Irakli Kobakhidze, has announced modifications to the government resolution affecting the visa-free stay of Ukrainian citizens.

Details: On April 3, it was revealed that the visa-free stay period for Ukrainians in Georgia has been reduced from three years to one.
"Ukrainian citizens are allowed to enter Georgia without a visa and stay in the country for a full year," the document states.
Ukrainians who entered and stayed in Georgia before February 24, 2025, will have their stay extended until February 24, 2026.
Background: In February 2023, the Georgian authorities permitted Ukrainians to stay in the country visa-free for two years, which was later extended to three years in April 2024.
