In Odesa, the contributions of Hero of Ukraine Oleksiy Vadatursky were honored. On September 12, a pre-premiere screening of the documentary film «Bread Captain of Ukraine» took place at the «Multiplex» cinema, dedicated to the prominent Ukrainian and founder of the company «NIBULON». The event gathered government representatives, agrarians, and concerned citizens who came to pay tribute to his memory.

​The event was opened by Andriy Vadatursky, the CEO of «NIBULON», Oleksiy Pavlenko, the advisor to the CEO and former Minister of Agrarian Policy, and Anton Shalyhaylo, the Deputy Head of Odesa Regional State Administration.

​In his speech, Anton Shalyhaylo emphasized the significant contribution of Oleksiy Vadatursky to the development of Ukraine's agricultural sector. He mentioned that a street in Odesa has been renamed in his honor (formerly Marshal Malinovsky Street), which serves as a testament to gratitude for his efforts.

"​It is symbolic that the future «Bread Captain of Ukraine» was born in the village of Bendyzary in the Podilskyi district of Odesa region. Here, on his native land, he took his first steps, cultivating a love for agricultural work. ​Oleksiy Vadatursky was not only the founder of a successful agricultural enterprise, but he

​also revived shipping on the Dnipro and Southern Bug rivers, providing thousands of Ukrainians with jobs. His main lesson was that even in the most challenging times, one must move forward, believe in Ukraine and its ability to be a strong and reliable partner for the entire world.

His memory continues to inspire us all," he said.
