Police in Odesa have identified and arrested an individual who set fire to cars in an underground parking facility in Arcadia. The suspect was apprehended the same day. He could face up to 10 years in prison for his actions.

A few days ago, during curfew hours, a man broke into the parking area of a high-rise building and poured gasoline on and set fire to two BMW vehicles belonging to a local resident. The flames spread to nearby parked BMW and Hyundai cars. Firefighters extinguished the blaze. Fortunately, no one was injured.
Authorities determined that the crime was committed by a 27-year-old resident of Mykolaiv. He was arrested while attempting to return home on a minibus. The suspect has been charged with intentional damage to property by arson. The court has placed him in custody with the option of posting bail set at 908,400 UAH. He faces a potential sentence of up to 10 years in prison.
