Arrests Made in Chornomorsk Incident

In Chornomorsk, Odesa region, three members of a local organization posing as military personnel violently attacked a 41-year-old cyclist and forced him into a car while demanding his documents. The police have already charged the perpetrators.

Details: The incident occurred on a road near Chornomorsk, where three young men in uniform blocked the cyclist's path and claimed to be from the territorial recruitment center. They demanded his documents and used physical force.

It was reported that the attackers, who had no connection to military service, forced the victim into their vehicle.

The cyclist managed to alert the police via the emergency line 102. Officers located him and determined that the suspects were members of a local community organization without authority to conduct mobilization.

The police seized the vehicle used to detain the victim, membership documents of the organization, and other evidence of interest for the investigation.

The suspects have been charged with unlawfully assuming powers, accompanied by violent actions, and illegal deprivation of liberty. According to the legal provisions, they face up to five years in prison. The investigation is ongoing.
