A tragic event has unfolded at the Odesa Military Academy, where a first-year cadet named Pavel S. was found dead outside the academy's premises. This information was shared on the academy's official Facebook page.
«On November 26, 2025, this unfortunate incident took place. Sadly, the cadet was discovered without any signs of life», – stated the academy's announcement.
It is noted that the academy's management is cooperating with law enforcement authorities to clarify the circumstances surrounding this tragedy. A service investigation has also been initiated, and several personnel decisions have already been made.
«The preliminary qualification by law enforcement suggests suicide; however, the possibility of abuse of power is also being investigated. Should this version be confirmed, all responsible parties will face legal consequences. The academy's administration extends its heartfelt condolences to the family and friends», – the statement concluded.
