On December 22, Odessa hosted an athletic event - the kickoff of the Winter Cup SEASIDE RUNNERS.

A total of 152 participants from various age categories took part in the races.

Among the youngest competitors (under 6 years) in the 60-meter dash, winners were Regina and Lev Kalchenko, with Nika Polishina and Valera Isaev taking silver, and Olivia Lutskevich and David Horishok winning bronze.

In the 7-13 age group for girls, Valeria Tsybulishchenko won the 1 km race, followed by Polina Tsybulishchenko and Viktoriya Vasyuk. For the boys in the same distance, Klymentiy Gerasymchuk took first place, with Andriy Zasnov second and Andriy Kyryakov third.

In the 5 km race, Olga Moroz and Yevgeniy Yasinetsky won, with Elizabeth Sheremeta and Denis Polyakov receiving silver, and Anya Novikova and Maxim Petrov taking bronze.

On the 10 km distance, Sofia Harmash and Sergey Saltevsky were the fastest, with Anna Osmykha and Yevgen Vavilov finishing second, and Olena Titova and Dmytro Bolotny in third.

The longest distance of 25 km saw Karine Grigoryan and Maxim Kyryakov triumph, followed by Yulia Krynichanskaya and Viktor Lazanyuk for silver, and Oksana Postolenko and Artur Zherebtsov for bronze.

In addition to the races, a festive program was organized for the children.

The Winter Cup is a series of races designed to test physical fitness. Winners will be determined not only by individual stages but also by the overall results across all stages. The event is organized by the public organization SEASIDE RUNNERS with support from the Odessa City Council.
