From November 3rd to 11th, the Ukrainian boxing championship for youth born in 2011-2012 took place in the village of Boyany, Chernivtsi region. A total of 370 athletes from 22 regions of Ukraine participated in the competition.

Odessa was represented by talented boxers Oleksandr Shchupak from the Comprehensive Children's and Youth Sports School No. 8 and Ismail Ismaylov from the "Livsha" boxing club.

Oleksandr Shchupak competed in the 80 kg category, winning three bouts and becoming the champion of Ukraine among boys. He was trained by coaches Volodymyr Osipchuk and Ihor Hordiienko.

In the 54 kg category, Ismail Ismaylov also excelled, securing three victories and a gold medal. He was prepared by esteemed coaches Nureddin Alibeyli and Azer Mustafaev.

In the overall team standings among boys, the Odessa region team also claimed victory. The winners of the competition will be included in the reserve of the national boxing team of Ukraine.
