From October 11 to 14, 2024, the international trampoline tournament «Friendship Cup» took place in the Czech city of Jablonec nad Nisou. The event featured 380 athletes from 12 countries.

The Ukrainian national team was represented by athletes from the Complex Children and Youth Sports School No. 1 in Odessa, namely Sofia Alarova and Veronika Pyatakova.

Under the guidance of coaches Regina Brailova and Liliya Zakolodyazhna, the athletes succeeded in winning three medals.

Sofia Alarova earned a silver medal in individual jumps, scoring 53.410 points, marking her career high. She finished just behind Jessica Stevens from the USA, who scored 54.600 points.

In synchronized jumps, Alarova and Pyatakova qualified in 7th place with a score of 43.750, but their outstanding performance in the finals earned them bronze medals with a score of 46.050.

Earlier this year, in March, the same athletes became bronze medalists at the World Cup in Alkmaar (Netherlands).

The trampoline program at the Complex Children and Youth Sports School No. 1 has 54 girls and boys participating.
