From March 6 to 9, 2025, Dnipro hosted an open tournament in Muay Thai titled «Dnipro Star».

 This year, the event was dedicated to the heroes defending our homeland.

160 athletes from Odesa, Vinnytsia, Zhytomyr, Berdychiv, Zaporizhia, Poltava, Kharkiv, and clubs from the Dnipropetrovsk region gathered to compete for prizes.

The main motivation for each fighter was the opportunity to participate in the Ukrainian championship in April and the chance to join the national team.

Odesa athletes, trained at the Odesa Comprehensive Children and Youth Sports School No. 7, won 14 gold, 5 silver, and 2 bronze medals at the tournament.

Winners included: Nikita Kuts, Bohdan Studnev, Kyrylo Berezovskyi, Volodymyr Trufkak, Yelyzaveta Velykova, Diana Savotina, Oleksandr Andriushchenko, Ivan Rasputny, Vladyslav Postnov, Timur Katerynchak, Oleksandr Zabara, Mark Yushchuk, Pavlo Balabko, and Yelysei Shaienko.

Silver medals went to: Dmytro Zanin, Kira Laryonova, Mykhailo Honcharuk, Ruslan Kravchenko, and Svyatoslav Shaienko.

Bronze medals were awarded to Timur Ostrovskyi and Myroslav Yakush.

The athletes were prepared by coaches: Volodymyr Pishenin, Liliya Shapoval, Mykhailo Mitaki, and Mykhailo Kovalchuk.

The tournament was organized by the Dnipro City Federation of Muay Thai in collaboration with the 25th Separate Airborne Sicheslav Brigade.
