The World Table Hockey Championship took place in the Swedish city of Umeå, where Ukrainian athletes earned 5 medals of various kinds. The sole gold medal was claimed by Hanna Ivantsova.

The silver medals were won by the women's team (Hanna Ivantsova, Polina Kvasnikova, Karina Pirumshoyeva) and the junior boys (Artem Matantsev, Artem Tsiluyko, Oleksandr Pylypenko, Mykhailo Razkevych).

The bronze medal among men was awarded to Yevheniy Matantsev, while Artem Matantsev claimed bronze in the junior category.

It is noteworthy that Yevheniy was the world champion in 2023 and the European champion last year.

This championship marked Umeå's first time hosting the world event in 30 years. The World Championship occurs every two years.
