In a remarkable achievement for Ukrainian sports, our female fencers have won a gold medal at the European Championship!

In the final match of the women's team foil event held in Genoa, Italy, the Ukrainian team confidently defeated Switzerland with a score of 45:34.

The gold medalists are: Olena Kryvytska, Anna Maksymenko, Inna Brovko, and Vlada Kharkova.

In the semifinals, the charges of coach Bohdan Nikishin triumphed over the home team, the Olympic champions of 2024, Italy, with a score of 45:27. Italy ultimately claimed bronze.
