What an impressive beginning for the Ukrainian junior team on the global stage! On the first day of the world championship in underwater sports (finswimming, pool), held in Chios (Greece), Ukrainian athletes secured three gold medals.

«First gold»: Yelyzaveta Hrechykhina (50 m diving – 16.63).

«Second gold»: Veronika Vorobyova (1500 m finswimming, Ukrainian junior record – 13:27.93).

«Third gold»: Anna Yakovleva, Veronika Vorobyova, Maiya Gorenok, Yelyzaveta Hrechykhina (4x100 relay, Ukrainian junior record – 2:41.61).
