For the second consecutive day, Ukrainian judokas are making headlines at the EYOF-2025!

Ilaria Tsurkan has claimed the championship title in the girls' category up to 63 kg. In the final match, she impressively defeated Rumeysa Kilikay from Turkey by ippon.

Mykhailo Solianyk, competing in the 81 kg weight class, faced a tough challenge in the gold final, where he lost to Taysu Babaychenko from Lithuania in a gripping «Golden Score» round, earning a silver medal.

The Ukrainian team has already secured eight medals at the XVIII Summer European Youth Olympic Festival in Skopje: 3 gold, 3 silver, and 2 bronze, placing us in eighth position in the medal standings.
