European Championship in Shooting in Châteauroux

The European Championship in shooting is currently taking place in the French city of Châteauroux, with more than 600 competitors from 30 countries participating.

Among the athletes is Odessa's Mykola Milchev, who became an Olympic champion in trap shooting at the 2000 Sydney Olympics, achieving a perfect score of 150 points.

Currently, Mykola serves as the head coach of the Ukrainian national team in this sport.

At the European Championship in France, he showcased remarkable shooting precision and, at the age of 57, won a bronze medal in the men's events on the Olympic trap. In the finals, he scored 46 points, securing third place.

The gold medal went to British shooter Ben Llewellyn with a score of 56, and the silver was claimed by Italian Tamarro Cassandro with 55 points.
