The National Taekwondo Championship (WTF) for juniors took place in Lviv from August 21 to 23, 2025.

Over 200 athletes participated in the event, with around 600 competitors from 19 regions of Ukraine.

The athletes from the Odesa region, representing the Complex Children and Youth Sports School No. 17, achieved the following results:

Championship for Children and Youth Sports Schools:

Danil Modnov – 1st place, 51 kg (juniors);

Kyril Pavlyuchenko – 3rd place, 68 kg (juniors);

Matviy Lukashuk – 3rd place, 73 kg (juniors);

Ulyana Protsenko – 2nd place, 55 kg (juniors);

Lina Yeremenko – 3rd place, 59 kg (juniors);

Denis Sevastyano – 3rd place, 30 kg (boys).

Junior Championship:

Anastasia Volosenko - 1st place - 46 kg;

Danila Komarov - 1st place, 45 kg;

Matviy Lukashuk – 1st place, 68 kg;

Zlatoslava Volosenko - 2nd place, 49 kg;

Danil Modnov - 3rd place - 51 kg.

The athletes were trained by coaches Viktor Semanyuk and Yuliya Podolyans.

In the taekwondo (WTF) department of the Complex Children and Youth Sports School No. 17, there are 133 athletes.
