From December 14 to 17, Kyiv hosted the team championship of Ukraine in synchronized swimming.

75 athletes from 8 teams representing Donetsk, Mykolaiv, Odesa regions and the city of Kyiv competed for the title of champions.

The Odesa region team featured talented athletes from the Specialized Children and Youth Sports School of Olympic Reserve «Chernomorets»: Vladyslava Kocherba, Yelizaveta Syedova, Sofia Sarukhanyan, and Yuliya Rerak.

Vladyslava Kocherba became a four-time champion of Ukraine, winning first places in technical, free, and acrobatic groups, as well as in the technical program among soloists.

She is part of the main roster of the national team of Ukraine.

The bronze medals in technical duets were claimed by Yuliya Rerak and Sofia Sarukhanyan, while Yelizaveta Syedova and Yuliya Rerak won bronze in free duets.

Among the soloists, Sofia Sarukhanyan won silver medals in both technical and free programs.

The athletes were trained by the honored coach of Ukraine, Olga Nikolaychuk.
