On January 5, the traditional mini basketball festival took place at the sports hall of the Odesa Specialized Children's and Youth Sports School of Olympic Reserve named after Boris Litvak as part of the NOC of Ukraine project 'Do like Olympians'.

This sporting celebration during the New Year period has already become a good tradition and has been held for the fourth time.

The festival featured leading teams from the Odesa region: the men's team 'BIPA-Odesa' (head coach - Oleksandr Ryabchuk, captain - Dmytro Solovey) and the women's team 'Interchem-SDYUSSHOR named after B. Litvak' (head coach - Iryna Shchypakina, captain - Svitlana Baturina).

Approximately two hundred young basketball players aged 7 and up from various sports schools in Odesa participated in the event.

Children enjoyed quizzes and master classes with well-known players. At the end of the event, all participants received gifts - New Year sweets from the Odesa city and regional basketball federations, and Olympic souvenirs from the NOC of Ukraine in the Odesa region. The SDYUSSHOR named after B. Litvak also received a set of basketballs.

The event was organized by the Odesa City Basketball Federation, the NOC of Ukraine in the Odesa region, the Odesa Regional Basketball Federation, and the SDYUSSHOR named after Boris Litvak.
