On November 9, Ukraine celebrated Culture Workers' Day and Masters of Folk Art.

In a delightful announcement for the occasion, an agreement was made regarding collaboration between Odesa libraries and the library system of Regensburg.

“The library project aims to establish foreign literature halls in Odesa libraries that will be developed with our sister cities. The Regensburg Library will be the first pilot project,” stated Ivan Liptuga, Director of the Department of Culture.

Next year, a German literature hall will be introduced in one of Odesa's libraries, featuring an exhibition dedicated to the history of Regensburg.

The sister city Regensburg will assist in the development and organization of this hall, including joint events and the publication of interesting works by German authors.

Similarly, a cultural corner of Odesa will be established in the libraries of the sister city.
