Samsung Expands App Accessibility for Windows Users

Samsung has announced that its signature applications are now available for all Windows users, regardless of whether they own Galaxy laptops. This was reported by Sammobile.

Previously, apps like Samsung Notes, Samsung Gallery, and Samsung Account were limited to Galaxy laptops, but now they can be downloaded on any computer running Windows 10 or 11. Users can find these applications in the Microsoft Store.

Some applications require authentication through a Samsung Account, and the Notes app may warn that it is optimized for Galaxy Book, which could lead to minor issues on other devices.

Currently, apps such as Gallery, Cloud, Screen Recorder, Galaxy Buds, Bixby, Samsung Studio, Phone, and others are available in the Microsoft Store. However, the Samsung Find app is still only accessible on Galaxy laptops.

This move by Samsung is significant for expanding the Galaxy ecosystem, providing access to its signature applications to a wider audience of Windows users.
