Nova Post has introduced an innovative AI-based tool that daily captures the status of each branch of the logistics company and checks compliance with standards.
According to Forbes Ukraine, citing the R&D Director of Nova, Yevhenii Khomenko, this innovation has allowed the company to save significantly on physical inspections by management and enhance service quality.
The top manager stated that before the introduction of this tool, the company conducted standard inspections: a territorial manager from Nova would visit partner branches, having previously arranged the visit. “The manager arrives, and everything looks like in the textbook. However, later we heard quite different feedback from customers,” he noted.
The R&D Director added that Nova has implemented a technology that automatically monitors compliance with standards — the entire network of branches is equipped with cameras and must adhere to specific requirements outlined in a checklist.
It is noted that AI takes daily photos of each branch and automatically analyzes them for compliance with standards. “Where is our employee located? Are they in uniform? Are all marketing materials in place? Is the trash can overflowing?” explained Yevhenii Khomenko.
The expert emphasized that due to automation, the company has significantly reduced the time and resources spent on quality control across various branches, as well as improved service. “We are training our AI models to provide recommendations that enhance interaction with business partners. We have ceased cooperation with some partners because technologies, including AI, can replace their services,” the top manager concluded.
According to Nova Post's data as of July 31, 2025, in the first half of 2025, the operator processed 238 million parcels and cargo, which is 7% more than in the same period of 2024. From January to September 2025, the company increased its consolidated net profit by 35.1% compared to the same period last year — to 2.876 billion UAH; consolidated net revenue rose by 21.7% — to 45.727 billion UAH.
As previously reported, Nova Post is preparing to test entirely new models of parcel machines. These include four solutions: plastic parcel machines, foam modular constructors, custom drop boxes, and CONVENIQ.
“All these solutions are currently being prepared for testing in Ukraine. If the testing is successful, these innovations will appear in cities and villages across the country,” the largest commercial logistics company in Ukraine recently stated.
Also, let us remind you that starting from December 1, 2025, Nova Post will update its tariffs. It is noted that the tariff updates are necessary to maintain the usual speed and quality of service. At the same time, tariffs for parcel delivery up to 2 kg and shipments from towns or villages will remain unchanged.
