On April 29, 2025, an inspection of the Black Sea Gully was conducted in Odessa at the initiative of the city council, covering the area from the Old Lustdorf Road to the beach 'Chornomorka'.

The commission included representatives from various departments such as the Ecology Department, Kyiv District Administration, city utilities, and specialists in territorial engineering protection.

During the inspection, unauthorized discharges of household sewage from some private properties directly into the gully were discovered. However, it was noted that no wastewater from the gully reaches the beach area at 'Chornomorka'.

The commission instructed relevant services to promptly eliminate the identified illegal discharges and to locate those responsible for these violations.

Additionally, checks of other sections of the Black Sea Gully will be carried out to prevent similar incidents in the future.
