In accordance with the charter of the territorial community of Odessa and recommendations from the Historical and Toponymic Commission, public consultations are being held through an electronic discussion regarding the renaming/naming of toponymic objects in Odessa.

The electronic discussion will take place from 10:00 AM on May 1 until 10:00 AM on July 1, 2025, on the official website of the Odessa City Council, ‘Socially Active Citizen’: citizen.omr.gov.ua. All changes will be displayed in real-time in the special electronic service ‘Public Discussion’.

Participation is open to all members of the territorial community who are over 18 and have a registered place of residence in Odessa.

The ‘Public Discussion’ service is accessible to everyone and allows for the creation of a personal online account for participation in the discussion.

To register an online account on the website, users must go through electronic authentication via the ID.GOV.UA system using an electronic signature, Diya.Sign, or NBU BankID, and fill out a form that includes the following information:
- date of birth;
- residential address;
- contact details (email, mobile phone).

The discussion is conducted separately for each toponym, allowing users to select ‘Yes’ or ‘No’ in the form with an option to leave a comment.
