Participants of the initiative «Guardians of the 411 Battery Park» shared updates on Facebook.

According to Alla Fedorova, a member of the group, the residents of Odessa decided to lend a hand to the park's workers in restoring military equipment.
«There is much to say about the condition of the equipment in the 411 Battery Memorial, but it’s better to take action - and support will come from all! We aimed to assist in tidying up the military equipment, and more people joined in, accomplishing a lot.»

Odessans demonstrated their love for the 411 Battery Memorial Park through their actions, not just words», – the woman noted.

She mentioned that many eager helpers, especially children, actively participated. Support also came from the soldiers of the 28th Odessa Brigade, volunteers, and the new park management.

The painting of military equipment by active locals is still ongoing, and this may not be the last initiative of its kind.
