During a fire in Odesa, firefighters successfully rescued an elderly woman and evacuated five residents.

Today, on Mechnikov Street in Odesa, the roof of a two-story residential building caught fire.

While extinguishing the flames, the firefighters carried an elderly woman from the smoke-filled apartment and handed her over to medical personnel.

Additionally, rescuers assisted five other residents in safely exiting the building.

The fire was quickly extinguished, preventing its spread throughout the entire structure.

A total of 10 firefighting units and 44 rescuers from the State Emergency Service were involved in the operation.
