Public Transport Stops Maintenance in Odesa

The municipal enterprise «City Roads» in Odesa manages 1012 public transport stops, including 7 historic ones over 100 years old.

Unfortunately, acts of vandalism occur almost daily, leading to broken benches, damaged bins, and shattered glass at stops. Accidents and external threats also contribute to the damage.

Staff regularly clean the areas around the stops, repair benches, bins, and pavilions, and perform washing and painting tasks.

This month, the team restored a century-old Belgian stop located on the 15th St. of Fontanska Road, which has been frequently targeted by vandals.

Since the beginning of 2025, 80 public transport stops have been renovated and 99 new bins have been installed.

The Odesa city council once again urges residents and visitors to take care of community property, as intentional damage could result in criminal charges.
