Last night, Odessa was struck by a heavy downpour accompanied by strong winds. By morning, it was reported that 36 trees and large branches had been uprooted. Municipal services immediately began addressing the consequences.
Emergency situations are being handled by specialists from the municipal enterprises «City Green Trust», «City Roads», and «Housing and Communal Services». They are engaged in cutting down fallen trees, removing debris, and cleaning up the streets.
Initially, the teams focused on clearing roads, highways, and pedestrian paths obstructed by fallen trees, as well as ensuring access to essential facilities. Currently, work has been completed at 25 locations, while efforts are ongoing at 11 other sites.
