In Odesa, a significant renovation has begun on a nine-story residential building located at Prince Volodymyr the Great Avenue, 134, which was damaged by drone strikes in March 2024.
The contractor is tasked with dismantling the damaged structures, removing debris, restoring walls, ceilings, the roof, drainage systems, and landscaping the area.
So far, initial emergency works have been carried out to strengthen the existing parts of the building.
As of today, the strengthening and securing of concrete elements that will remain for further use has been completed. In particular, the building's wall has been stabilized and secured to the ceiling slabs.
The completion of the renovation is scheduled for December 31, 2026.
Recall that in March 2024, an extraordinary meeting of the Odessa City Council approved the dismantling of 18 apartments in this building, which were deemed uninhabitable.
