On the occasion of Defenders Day, various educational activities were organized in the schools of Odesa.

Students participated in lessons of courage and memory titled «Dignity of the Ukrainian People», along with roundtable discussions, screenings of documentaries, and exhibitions of children’s drawings and creative works called «I am a descendant of Cossacks».

Young Odesans also took part in sports competitions named «We are Children of the Cossack Family», charity events «Thank You, Defenders of Ukraine», workshops «Protective Talismans for Soldiers», patriotic flash mobs «In Unity, There is Our Strength!», and meetings with servicemen.

School libraries hosted thematic literature exhibitions.

The purpose of these activities was to foster national-patriotic education among children and youth, as well as to popularize the heroism of military defenders.
