Students of Odesa Lyceum No. 90, along with their German teacher Karina Beigelzimer, participated in an international youth project called «Actionbound – Sustainable Development Goals in My City», organized by the Institute for Virtual and Real Adult Learning in Ulm (ILEU e.V.).
The project brought together teenagers from Ukraine, Germany, and Bulgaria around a common goal — exploring the 17 Sustainable Development Goals. Since winter, participants have been working online, studying local initiatives in Odesa, Ulm, and Sofia, analyzing how global goals are implemented at the local level, and generating their own ideas for positive change in their cities.
The most active participants had the chance to meet in person in Ulm, where they experienced a week filled with unforgettable impressions, inspiration, new friendships, and European dialogue.
Staying with host families, meeting the mayor, walking through historic streets, media technology workshops, discussing the future of Europe, and presenting their research — all these experiences became part of a shared story.
This trip is about trust, support, dialogue, new horizons, and the Europe we are building together — from Odesa to Ulm.
