Beach Rescue: The Critical Situation of a 14-Year-Old Girl

At the 16th station of the Big Fountain, medical professionals responded to a call regarding a 14-year-old girl who had drowned and was in critical condition, unconscious. The road was blocked by parked cars, delaying the arrival of help. This was reported by the Emergency Medical Center of the Odessa region.

Fortunately, another medic was on the beach and immediately started CPR while the emergency team navigated through the vehicles.

After stabilizing the girl's condition, she needed to be rushed to the intensive care unit, but once again they encountered traffic on the way back.

The Emergency Medical Center of Odessa emphasizes that such cases are not exceptions but systemic issues. Medical staff urge drivers not to block access, especially near beaches and popular recreation spots.

“I urge you to think about emergency medical services and imagine for a moment that your loved ones could be in that vehicle: a husband, wife, or child,” noted emergency physician Yelizaveta Churilova.
